To me, telling a story is a way to reflect upon my impressions, to make sense of them. Writing helps me pay attention. It allows me a deeper retrospection into my experiences, an opportunity to grow because of them. Photography allows me to tell what I see without words or when the right words fail me. It allows me to hold on to a fleeting moment. Also, the camera is a tool that allows me to portray the beauty that is all around us. It gives me the focus that my naked eye lacks.
